Title: Scan on start up??

When yiou first get avast the first thing i does is restrt your computer and scans your whole hard drive. If possible i want to do that again. I would like to find out if there is a way possible to do this> any info is appreciated.  Thanx :)

Hi speedyf3, welcome to the forums.

The trick would be to check the avast help file, Menu > Simple User Interface Menu > Schedule boot time scan.

But you could open the start avast antivirus (right click avast icon) and from the Menu select 'Schedule boot-time scan...'

Or you could download RejZor's avast! External Control program (http://freeweb.siol.net/razor256/downloads/avast_external_control.zip)
