What is SCAN PUP bottom for ?
It seams to be unmarked by default.
Shal it be that way - Or shal I change it ?
And for what risen ? - What happens it it is turned on ? , and what if it is turned on ?

Hello, I have turned it on. Turning it on just tells avast that you want it to tell you if it Finds PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) in a scan. :)

No it doesn't mean "these are programs that have been known to have caused virus's to web surfer's"
It is as it says, Potentially Unwanted Programs and has no reference to the location in relation to web surfers. These PUPs are commonly tools or programs that can be used for good or bad purposes.
Some Tools are designed to kill processes such as in HP systems restore partitions, when they are used for legitimate purposes. However, if you didn't have an HP for instance then this same tool could be used for malicious purposes.
The biggest problem with enabling this scan option is don't be surprised at what avast might find as there could be many such tools on your system. Then it is down to you to decide if it is legitimate and not bad, this requires a degree of knowledge on the users part.
