Title: MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS
Post by: tedsclub on September 14, 2004, 04:58:38 AM
I help my customer to implement avast! Pro. Most of them are using Chinese Windows XP.

We really don't know why, some machine after we install avast! Pro, it will then start to reboot suddenly without any reason. And after we set the WinXP not to reboot when find errors. And blue error screen show MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS error. Please see the attachment.

And when we uninstall avast, it work fine again. What's the matter? Can avast support help? As we are introducing this product to our client but they then start to complain.

Thank you so much!

Hello !

If your customers are using avast! on XP SP2, probably they have problem.
They have to wait for ver. 4.5.

tedsclub, I sent you an email.
Iso-G, this cannot be related to XP SP2 + AMD64. avast doesn't crash on such a configuration, it just doesn't scan for viruses... :)

Thanks VLK for sending me an email. But you got my email? thx anyway.

I don't think it is about WinXP and SP2. As my client is using WinXP SP1 with IBM A30 PC.

You mean the first one (the question) or a second one? I only got the first one (that is, never got a reply to my mail)

Huh, maybe I confused you with someone else (with a similar problem).
Sorry... :)

What I wanted to say, please send me the contents of the folder windows\minidump (the .mdmp files).

Ideally by email.

Thanks
