Hello,
May I ask which version has this page?.
I'm glad to see it can be taken out, but my page stops at where it says Privacy Policy, the rest of the page is blank.
I'm using Avast Internet Security v.6.0.1000 -paid version- which was updated to my computer on Saturday, March 5.
I registered today and have been reading the boards to get used to the forums, and also to find more information about how to use some of the features I'm not familiar with, like the firewall and sandbox.
I upgraded from Avast AV Pro -paid version- to the Internet version two weeks ago, and although I find myself getting a little lost within the pages of the program, I like it... except for that "like avast" button, which I felt it was unnecessary in a paid program.
I will probably be asking many questions very soon..
Keep up with the good job you are doing! :)

It is in the 6.0.1021 Pre-release version.

Welcome to the forum :)
Thank you for the answer and welcome. ;)
Do I need to update to that version now?
I'm on a slow dial-up connection and it takes forever to download anything. It literally took hours on Sat to download the version I have now..
-
I assume this is only available in the still pre-release version...

No, it's Pre-release version and it will out as Final soon, so update will be much smaller via update interface instead of downloading full file of Pre-realease. Just wait for a few days ;)

Pleas do not use img822.imageshack.us for images.
Please use Additional Options... then Attach: Browse...

You know, I just spent a week at the RSA Security Conference, courtesy of Avast! (Thank you again!). And pretty much every day there was a session showing how the social networking sites were the greatest things ever for identity thieves, phishers, email baddies, .. There were even some discussions about how easy it was to get people to give up their passwords for "good reasons" in such a setting. So if you want to use them to support avast!, even through the "Like" button, be sure it is only as a reader of the information, or anonymous commenter, not as a supplier of information about yourself. Don't create an account for this purpose. If you do have an account for other purposes, or need to register, provide as little information as possible and lie when you can, using a disposable email address. :) FaceBook is not your friend, in spite of all the "friends" you may have there. :(
