When I logged onto my email this morning (webmail.juno.com) an Avast pop-up informed me "Trojan Horse Blocked" and "connection aborted." It indicated HTML:redirME-inf[trj] as the problem. At the bottom was a link that said "visit the Avast community info portal for more information," and when I did, I simply received an offer to upgrade to the paid version. Meanwhile, I am unable to access my email.
Does anyone have an idea, other than disabling Avast, how I can do so?
Thank you!

If you wish to stay clean I would not disable Avast to get your mail - report to Juno that their mail site is infected

Except that it appears that the problem is not with Juno, but avast. I have been a Juno client for years, and this morning both of my avast-protected computers at home gave me the same login error that has been reported here. I am able to log in from work with my school's computer system with no problems.

Do those computers have Avast. Generally if I get a webshield alert I heed it, it is in excess of 90% accurate

Yes, me too. Can't get into Juno from my home computer, protected by Avast. No problem getting into Juno from library computer. :(

I guess it is fixed now. I have opened the site on both firefox and ie and it works fine. vps 110311-0.

I'm having the same problem with access to JUNO web-mail. Has anyone been able to determine if JUNO is infected or if it is an issue with AVAST?

I was blocked earlier from logging in. Now I get blocked after logging in. I'll be watching to see if there is fix.

I just Avast's update, and I'm now back in!
-
The update took care of mine also. Tnx jkeenley

What do you mean by update? What did you do to get back in?
-
The latest avast virus definitions update resolves the problem, just ensure that you have it. The update should have happened automatically unless you changed the update default settings.

Update for me was automatic. Fixed.
