hello avast
my avast database do not updates. my license of avast ends on 4/4/2011 and though it does not updates...... what to do?

i updated avast everyday and today it not worked......how avast worked everyday if license is invalid?

Where and through whom was your license bought ???
If it's legitimate, then there's a problem. If it's not, then you've been lucky not to have been caught till now.

i dont think so that license is invalide. may be something wrong with avast.

I would suspect your friend gave you a stolen licence.
There is nothing wrong with avast!

Most likely one of the keygen generated keys which have now been blocked.
Either start using the free version or pay for the current version you're using.

krypton, Please, upload (attach) the avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\Setup\setup.log
(or the shorter C:\Users\All Users\Alwil Software\Avast5\log\Setup.log).
If the file is too big for the forum, post the last 400-500 lines of it.

This isn't a new installation. Most likely an illegal key.

Anyway, the log analysis could help :)
