Title: Win32:Iroffer [Trj]

Ive accidently opened a trojan, stupid me, anyways, its currpted my svchost.exe, and cannot be repaid, any ideas how to fix it? Should i delete it or move it to chest, Any suggestions be great help.

C:\WINDOWS\system\config\svchost.exe

hi  and welcome , best idea is to move to chest  then after  a few days when all seems ok  delete . if you are worried about it and need reassurance of what it might have done , you can search thru forum or google and find out that way. good luck

Thanks for the tip.

i ran msconfig found the startup batch file, removed that from startup and cleaned up files, all seems ok, going to run a scan anytime soon, too what other nasties are left on my pc.

If needed, run the system file checker to put back the original system files.

start > run > cmd > sfc /scannow (keep the XP cd ready)

or

start > run > cmd > sfc /? (for info on the switches)
