Title: How to disable E-mail Virus Warning
Post by: McoreD on September 27, 2004, 02:01:10 PM
Hi Guys,

avast! is great and I am really enjoying it. :)

I need a small setting change that I couldn't find myself how to change.

Can you please help me how to disable this Virus Warning (so it will silently delete the virus from the email)?

Thanks,
McoreD

Welcome to this board.

right click the blue ball > choose on-access scanner > internet mail > change > advanched tab > silent mode

or read more about it.
start > programs > avast > help > search for "silent"

isn't a help file great ;)

Thanks guys, for your quick reply.

Yes the Help file was great. I just wasnt too sure how to preselect the setting: Automatically Delete the Virus file".

I will check if it automatically deletes the Virus file, next time I get a virus.

Thanks again,
McoreD

In Home version this is not possible.
You can only 'Send the file to Chest' (like Eddy said, Silent mode + No as default answer). Take care.  ;)
