Title: IE 9 tracking blacklist, Opera Referrer blocking or AdBlock Plus ???
Post by: rdmaloyjr on April 11, 2011, 01:08:08 AM
The browser poll was getting off topic.

Nobody mentioned Referrer blocking.

How does it compare to IE 9 tracking blacklist

and AdBlock Plus?

Referrer blocking is native in Opera while FF requires an extension.

FF requires an extension for everything, probably even for surfing the Web. ;D ;D ;D

I made a joke on FF, get over it.  On with the discussion.

Referrer blocking keeps other sites from seeing where we've been.

Hardly much point as it appears you have already made up your mind.

I couldn't care less if a site knows where I have just come from.
