Title: MS Removal Tool Malware
Post by: W4WMM on April 14, 2011, 12:35:20 AM
The computer at my church, running Avast Internet Suite (pay version) became infected with MS REMOVAL TOOL MALWARE.

Should Avast protected us from that?

We did have some older, outdated, not used AV programs, on the hard drive which have since been removed.

I'd love to hear your comments.  Educate me please...

Alan

Indeed. Not even close. It's not even a good system restore :P

A system image stored on an external HDD is the best system restore you can buy.
