when i turned mu pc on this morning avast wouldnt eork  says storage cannot be created for "splas" task   then it says unknown error dbsCreateObject   so i uninstalled and downloaded again  but still says the same thing ive never had a problem b4?????? :'(

If you have win 98(se), make sure you have the latest MDAC drivers (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c&displaylang=en) and JET drivers (http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/3/9/4393c9ac-e69e-458d-9f6d-2fe191c51469/Jet40SP8_9xNT.exe) installed. If that does't help. Change the database type from odbc to xml and see if that solves it. (search this board on how to do so)

ok i searched and did what it said and is working fine now  thanks for your help once again      
just out of curiousity do you know why it stopped working and i had to change settings? :-\

Can't tell why it happened since I can't look at your system. Likely it where those  "computer trolls" again ;D ;D ;D

Did you update Windows or MS Office recently?  ::)

no i didn't     but pcs started to play up now again at start up rebooting grrrrrrrrrrrrrr     and all names keep going from msn sign in  hmmmm :-\
