Don't use AdMuncher and use hpHosts and MVPS HOSTS files:

Yes.I like WOT, very stable.

WOT is very unreliable and is more biased to user inexperience.  ::)

Yes. Windows Ultimate Professional SP1 x64 + WU up to date.
I've read something about Firefox x64 but that's impossible. Because MS Silverlight doesn't support an 64 bit browser and Flash player x64 also not stable.

I've used Avast WebRep without any problems with earlier Avast6 latest version.

I'm not thinking about x86 OS just because Avast WebRep require it. :) Not just WOT, but AVG 2011 FF addon also works well.

Why WebRep in the Avast if they can't support it?!
It would be better to ignore WebRep from Avast Free at all.

Also you can install McAfee Site Advisor FREE as well. Working great!
Now, I'm testing McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 -> New McAfee Products
And with Firefox4 McAfee SiteAdvisor.

Bye!

Disgusting, you can't be serious.

Guys, in all honesty right now the webrep doesn't bring much to the table as any simple community based reputational tool like this or WOT is subject to poor info from less than knowledgeable user input. Don't take any reputational tool on blind trust, at best they are a guide only and there is nothing to stop you using both tools together. So until we start to see input on this from the virus labs on actual malware detections it isn't a security enhancement.

That said the fact that it is still relatively new as is the background infrastructure, the servers retaining the data, etc. are getting overloaded and will at times not be available, this will take a little time to get the balance right.

So if it isn't available it isn't the end of the world, you are no less secure.

McAfee SiteAdvisor is as useless as WOT but at least they do not rate known malware sites safe like McAfee SiteAdvisor does.  ::)

Interesting... WOT working; McAfee working but Avast WebRep just trying...
And why do think Avast WebRep would be better?!

Well there is working and working, McAfee's site advisor database is way out of date with some of the reviews over 6 months old. So sites reported as infected aren't and some that are reported as clean are infected as the checks aren't real-time.

That was a very nice explanation there. True, WebRep is just new and as any new tool introduced is still on the "building-up stage". I use WOT but also use URLvoide.com / IPVoid.com to check some sites when I am uncomfortable with it. I am aiming to use both WebRep and WOT after a couple of months of observation with ver6.0.1091. I think WebRep will go beyond WOT given some time.  There is a new one BitDefender Trafficlight but have not tested it out yet. Still reading.

Very nice read here.

Thank you.
