Title: Is it safe to delete ".mdmp" files in Avast's log folder
Post by: kailanpa on May 02, 2011, 04:38:40 PM
My very old WinXp is running low on storage and I decided to find out why. I noticed that the "log" folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Alwil Software\Avast5\ has many files with .mdmp extension with file sizes of about 100MB and it totaled to more than 9GB!
Is it safe to delete those files? I really need to free up same space on my HDD. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You'll need to disable avast self-defense module in troubleshooting tab of settings before deleting.
