Just curious

How many monitors are you using?

Is it a laptop with a touchpad type pointing system used alongside a usb mouse? If so, have you tried diabling the touchpad (or unplugging the mouse)

yes I am using a laptop with a touch pad. I tried unplugging my usb mouse and used my touch pad but it's still not working. did also the other way; used usb mouse and disabled touch pad and got the same result.  :-[ :-[ :-[

Are you using any special mouse setup or are you using the default mouse setup.

Go to Control Panel----Click on Mouse----------and check the Mouse Properties.

Thank you so much guys.

yup, thanks again. but it would be nicer if customized pointers work in safe zone.

btw, i'm just new here and i can't comment on the Like AVAST on facebook thread. Personally, i clicked the icon and i think it should be gone in the UI after clicking it. :)

The problem being that the safe zone is an isolated desktop so what is running has to be capable of running without stepping outside it or the protection levels are reduced for each exception.
