Title: Avast Pirate version stopped working wont start back

Anyone know how to start my pirate version of avast back up?

Yes i do mean pirate talk version. Im using win7. The version is 5.0.677. IT just quit
and I cant restart using the start button or the fix now button.IT says im adrift at sea.

You should update Avast to 6.0.1125 ;) Report back if you still have problems expert users will help you. :D

Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).

Please, upload (attach) the avast log:
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\Setup.log
or C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\Setup\setup.log

If the file is too big for the forum, post the last 400-500 lines of it.
