Title: Avast Free Antivirus.

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, I recently bought Windows 7,  I install Avast Free Antivirus, Windows defender is active, how can I setup to disable Windows Defender?, please if somebody can help me, thanks in advance.

Go to control panel and open windows defender then click tools or options and untick the use this program box and you should get a confirmation that the program was closed.

Inside WD settings you can disable the real-time protection and the on demand scanning of it.
Anyway, you can let it running. It won't hurt and it's compatible with avast.
