Title: Win32:trojan-gen (Other) detected... so what?
Post by: Restless on October 20, 2004, 07:40:27 PM
it was detected and multiple options were suggested - including repair/clear, although according to VDB, these are not possible
So, 2 questions - is that behaviour normal, ie suggesting actions which are not "good" for that virus, and 2nd - how that thing entered my PC? probably in the interval between that virus was entered in avast! VDB ?
The strange thing is that although i have internet connection I'm behind firewall (XPSP2 :) ), and NAT, no windows LAN

Eddy,

For some reason Jotti is not available, I have been getting connection refused to Jotti when using firefox and a redirect page when using Avant Browser.

When you try Jotti and it is down, see the links on the page in my signature and use at least 2 online av scanners.
