Title: Mailshield Again

I'vevs just managed to mail all the Eicar test files to my v arious mailboxes. If I try to open the files direct from the Eicar website then both Sophos (different machine) and Avast spot the culprits.

Should I be able to mail these files without Avast picking them up? SSL is turned off and all the advice on mailshield, afaik, followed

If the mail shield is running and SSL is disabled in the mail client's configuration, you should be noticed with a pop-up when receiving the mail via POP3 or IMAP. No mail check is performed when the files are send from your computer using SMTP (but the file shield can perform some action if it is ON)
