Title: avast fix problem

my avast is prompting me to press the fix button or restart program because somehow it it unsecured. I try to click on both fix and restart program and nothing happens. what do I do.

Try to repair your installation (Control Panel > Programs > Change/Remove > Repair).
Any other security program that could be interfering?

its tells me error processing packages. please use full updates.

Why don't you try an installation from scratch?

Hmmm... Uninstall, boot, install, boot is the way from scratch...
Do you have any other antivirus running in this computer? Is the computer infected?
