Post by: raphaps on June 18, 2011, 03:29:51 PM
Hello everybody. I have a problem with password protection avast, why set a password and can not remember what it was, and now can not disable or enable anything. Would have any way to reset this password?

Thank you.

Re-install avast after completely uninstalling it.

I've done it. I uninstalled the program Revo Uninstaller, because when I ask to uninstall the Windows and open the uninstaller Avast, asks for password anyway. But I managed to uninstall and install again, but keeps asking for password, even though he deleted all the registry keys in regedit.

Still, after uninstall and reboot, install again, but when I mess around with settings, ask for the password again.  :(

What do you mean when you mess around with your setting?
Let the setting as it is...and your computer will run smoothly ;)

I had seen some encountered a similar case. Just press enter when it asks for a password.
