Title: At how many pc's I'm allowed to use avast free?
Post by: RazooN on June 29, 2011, 06:06:40 PM
Hi,

I have in mind to change my av-programm because other manufacturer are going to destroy their free solution with needless updates (no names mentioned).

So, I heard very good thinks about avast but there is one reason why I'm not so safe.

For using the free version, you have to register with email. But how often I'm allowed to do this? Is it possible to use it at 2 or 3 different computers? If yes, can I use the same emailaddress three times for registration?

Response would be great. Thanks in advance.

there is no limit on the amount of computers you can use avast free on. i say this because i have installed it on 3 home computers with same email address and had no problems.

Ok, this is really good to know. I think about it and maybe tomorrow I'm a avast user, too.

Thanks!

I think that should be changed to "Personal use" but yes.
