??? Please tell me what I am doing wrong. When I run the avast scan it continually brings up the following
Win32:Dluca-B TRJ has been found in Documents and Settings local settings temporary internet files
C:\docume~1\will not show\locals~1\temp\mt11498.exe
and it continually detects the virus with new extension nubmers
I delete them all and it shows up againk, as I say, with new extensions.
PLEASE HELP. SEMI INFORMED. THANKS ANYONE.

Probably this is a temporary file that 'generate' the infection itself.
If you have Windows XP, can you start avast antivirus, right click the skin and schedule a boot time scanning (including archives) and run it?
When you see that file, send them to Chest 8)

thank you I will try it and keep you updated!!

If this is something that keeps coming back then you may have other actions to stop it coming back.
A visit to Eddy's HiJackThis Info and Analysis page, HiJackThis log file analyzer (http://members.home.nl/edeijl/acred/cleaning.htm) and follow the directions in the HiJackThis Section there and get back to us if you need more help....
