Title: [Known] Bugs with password protection settings
Post by: avadas.de on July 13, 2011, 01:56:43 PM
Hi,

if you protect the avast! settings with a password, the protection doesn't work for the following two settings

1) Scan control

An scan can be started/stopped/paused anyway.

2) Update control

This works for Maintenance -> Update, but not if you start the update from the Summary -> Current status (if a new program version is marked in red letters there).

Please check those two settings and confirm the bugs, if possible.

Can anyone from AVAST just make a short confirmation that this bug has been recognized and will be fixed?
