I have just tried to install and update BART 2.0
The install went OK.
When I checked for updates that went OK
When I tried to download the updates that is when it crashed
I get the error message
"a setiface error has occured : 2
try to reinstall or contact support, please"
I have tried uninstalling rebooting and reinstalling and that doesn't work. I keep getting the same error message.
I installed the same download on Win XP machine and everything went just fine.
Is there a problem with BART 2.0 and Win 98se. A friend has tried it and has the same results. He has Win 98se as well

I have just tried to install and update BART 2.0
You don't install the BART CD, you get the ISO, burn it to a cd-r and boot from it.
What are you trying to say/do ???

I installed the bart_full.exe
I have been usint Avast BART for about 6 months and every thing was working fine until 10/23/04.

8) I have had the same issue with the same error message using win 98. works ok on xp though

will I have down the full exe again or just uninstall and reinstall the version that i already have?

Given that it's actually a bug in the installer I guess you'll have to download the file again. But I'm not sure -- it's easiest to try.
