Title: VBS:ExeDropper-gen trojan attack! help! help! help!
Post by: lily13 on July 20, 2011, 06:03:12 PM
It seems as if my system has come to its doom's day. It got infected with VBS:ExeDropper-gen trojan last night. M using Avast 5.0.462.0 (Desription: ALWIL Software Setup Engine) on Windows XP(Service Pack 3). This shit has infected all my html files/web pages/exe saved content on whole of my hard drive(all partitions). The mentioned antivirus detected the trojan, pops up with a message "trojan detected! file deleted,no further action required".I've already lost 5000+ html files, leaving many applications carshed! Mozilla firefox reported a crash n many other apps too!! :o Then I ran a full system scan bt nothing came out.
I am final year engineering student striving to create html pages to run applets for my major project  :-\. As soon as i create a html page, trojan infects it,n my so-called super-cop(ani-virus) deletes the file. Its just reckless!!! >:(

Can some gentle being help me out, as quickly as possible.... phlzzzzzzzz ??? :-[
