Title: Avast 6 Pro and Online Games Blocking Help

I have recently been having issues with Avast and a couple games I play online (WW II Online and Vendetta Online).  The PC will launch the clients on the PC but when it goes to connect to the PC to the game server, it just locks it up.  Seems to want to prevent that interaction between the two.  Tried to reboot to see if an issue but still the same results.

The only proven way to get this to run is to remove Avast so far and been replicated twice now to be the blocker.

I have the Pro version 6 along with a WHS version on my home server.  Please advise as to the best solution to get let these programs access the internet over removing the program itself.

welcome to the forum.

do you have a third party firewall that could block the game from launching?

are you saying avast is blocking it from running or?

any screen when avast is blocking it then?

could also be the internet connection that is not good or the server is or loaded.

any infromation could be helpfull.
