A while back i was messing with my network sharing settings, and now avast wont boot up. It just shows a error message. Can someone help please.

Ive tried upgrading and removing program several times doesnt work. Ive used the tool on avast website to remove program on safe mode that doesnt work either.

I followed every step, and i own a registry cleaner(registry mechanic)

If you cant remove avast via the normal uninstall programs then you will have to run the uninstaller http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility from safe mode, the uninstaller will remove all versions of avast ( but you need to choose which version ) with reboots inbetween.

In your case simply choose Removing avast!4.8 and Installing avast!6
