Title: Please help avast won't download on my computer!

Hello,

I recently uninstalled my windows xp operating system because I had the "google redirect virus" and used my windows vista disk as the new ops. I purchased avast and have the license key and all, but every time I try to download the free version or the pro version with the license it gets through everything but at the end it says there was an error with the setup and it's nowhere to be found in my programs. I've tried multiple times. Please help. The log is too long to post here.

sounds like you still have some malware......have you run windows update and downloaded all updates ?

To avoid using multiple post with copy and paste you have to attach the log`s
Lower left corner: Additional Options > Attach ( Malwarebytes log / OTL log / aswMBR log ) save OTL log as ANSI

Essexboy will look at the logs when he arrive here later today...
