Title: avast internet security - Invalid file signature. Setup will terminate.

I got the following error message:

03.09.2011 19:35:30 general: Return code: 0x2000000B [Invalid file signature. Setup will terminate.]
03.09.2011 19:35:30 general: Stopped: 03.09.2011, 19:35:30

I am not able to install ais.
Need help.

It works today. I installed it in safe mode and after some reboots the automatic update was possivle. The automatic update caused the same error message before.

my system is windows XP SP3 Spy eye cleaned up by de-cleaner.
I had also a erroneous RAM installed. Maybe some of this causalities made the error.

Forget mrt.exe - mrt.exe was not able to find spy eye.

Maybe with avast installed the spy eye were not able to to hijack my onlinebanking and maybe the avast rootkit check is also able to find and remove it. Therefore i bought avast now. The creator of spy eye made that i bought avast...... Maybe he did a great job....
