I wouldn't recomend either of those two either, especially anything from iobit. Use Ccleaner and a good defragmenter, i prefer Defraggler.

You can go over the top sometimes with to many cleaners to many security programs etc.
It can take hours to clean a system, but only 1 minute to trash it.
Over the years I have tested free programs & paid programs on test machines & although good was not impressed how harsh they can be on your system.
Iobit free is ok if you fully understand what you are doing, but I would not use half the programs in it.

Apart from going into the system myself  run these programs & have for years.

Ccleaner
Eusing reg cleaner
Defraggler
File shredder
Security Comodo Dns server   Comodo Firewall ----Router firewall secure Hard wired.
Avast Antivirus Free
Malewarebytes.

I don’t agree with memory optimisation programs & take with a pinch of salt programs that claim to speed up your internet.
There is many tweaks you can do to optimise your computer without downloading hundreds of
programs, trying them  out then deleting after a few day’s, will defiantly clutter up your system.
If you want to try programs, first search on the net what type of problems these programs might create for you, because I am sure there is a forum for every free & paid program.
Two free sites I trust apart from filehippo are Cnet & softpedia.
On those sites free means free or they might say free to try.
Some programs on the net advertise free then after you download & run they want you to pay.
You can watch experts on youtube testing & either recommending a program or not, some even tell you what pitfalls you may have with programs.
Now back to work I go.   Beam me up.

I am still waiting for a program that will boil me the perfect boiled egg.
Two eggs in a pan of water--one says to the other it's flaming hot in here----the other one says wait till you get outside they smash your f head in.

Is it broke?? If not, then don't fix it. Those "optimizing" programs are more harm then they are worth. Use your onboard defrag tool, and a good quality cleaner like windows' own disc cleaner, CCleaner or SlimCleaner and stay the heck out of the registry, or You'll be doing a reinstall of windows.

As i stated earlyer use Ccleaner the slim build http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds, its safe and doesn't go to deep into registry so will not damage your system.

Never used it myself but imo all you should need is ccleaner and defraggler, iv been using both these tools for a long time and have never had the need for any other optimizing tool.
