Title: how install a previous version?

Hi

my friend have some problems with the last version

a incredible slow down when she surf with firefox last version , web shield on , setting well known browser ON

can i download the prev version and install over the last built?


or i must uninstall , run the clear tool and install it again and add all the settings again ?

Yes, you can try to install a previous version.
But you must uninstall it and install the old version.

If you've some problem with uninstall the current version you can try to use the avast uninstall utility

hey. did you try a clean installation of avast? sometimes that would help.

what os do your friend use?

any other programs running like a third party firewall that could slow down the web speed?

have you tryed to deactivate the web shield and see if the web speed is improved by that?

is he using the latest version of firefox?.

no ,the w7 firewall

have you tryed to deactivate the web shield and see if the web speed is improved by that?
yes i disabled

yes , she did had slow down with the prev version of avast

in short should i uninstall ?
can i download the prev version , and install it without uninstall the new version?

Yes you can try, but you've some problem with that this PC.

Is best to uninstall correctly and run avast uninstall utility, and than install.

Then you can install the previous version... or try to reinstall the 6.0.1289
