Title: ImSCCore.dll false positive?
Post by: Juande on September 17, 2011, 07:09:57 PM
Hey guys, I did a quick scan and got a possible threat in ImSCCore.dll. Should I be worried? Maybe this is unrelated but the file is located in my partition containing the Windows Developer Preview (Win8 beta). Thanks in advance.

EDIT: The threat is Win32:Ezula-ACG[Adw]

Upload to VT (www.virustotal.com) and post the result.

Similar situation here. Did a full scan, and it's in the same partition as the Windows 8 Developer preview. Win32:Ezula-ACG[Adw]. It found a second sample in another folder as well, but VirusTotal says it's the exact same file. Here's the report.
