Title: Dell Datasafe and Avast
Post by: QueenPendragon on October 03, 2011, 04:38:10 AM
Since the last Dell Datasafe update, Avast has been giving me scan results saying it can't scan Datasafe because it's password protected. I know they're legit, since they're all Datasafe files, but should I be able to click 'do nothing' and then 'apply'? The apply button is grayed out and I can only click 'close'.

files that can not be scanned are just that, it does not mean they are infected....

avast is just saying it cant scan those files for whatever reason......in your case they are password protected

I did forget to add that Malwarebytes finds no problems either, although IDK if it can scan them or not.
