Title: Malicious URL Blocked - that isn't right
Post by: bonmay on October 05, 2011, 02:21:13 AM
On my site I get a Malicious URL Blocked, something to do with Mom Logic, but I don't have anything on my site about Mom Logic.  So, what is going on?  I emailed Avast and they said there is nothing wrong with my site.

Not sure what avast product you are using, I don't know if the avast! Server Version (the forums you posted in) is different to the standalone/client avast applications, but and Malicious URL alerts are normally done by the Network Shield.

I haven't heard of the Mom Logic, that you mention unless this is a site called momlogic ?

However, I visited the link you gave and no alerts from avast. Mind you I have Firefox with NoScript and RequestPolicy and I notice your site has a massive amount of cross site scripting, one to momdot.com and momselect.com along with a few others with momms in the domain name.

Even temporarily allowing cross site scripting avast doesn't alert, so I'm at a loss as to the problem. A screenshot of the alert window would be helpful.
