Title: After scanning PC with Avast lot of files are hidden ??

Hi
I has this Win32 Trojan attack on my PC. So I see hundreds and thousands of files and folders have been created on my PC whose names match with my original ones. Funny Thing there are all exe files and sized 44KB. Now I use Avast and happy that all of them were detected and removed. To my disgust I find that lot of orginal audio video document files are missing. This makes me very disappointed but next moment I see that the folder or disk size is unchanged so it made me wonder whether the files are still there but hidden somehow. Now I open my linux partition and can see them perfectly but they are totally invisible in Windows. Please help.

If you follow the guide here in the Virus and Worms section and attach the logs
then Essexboy can have a look when he arrive.....tomorrow i think
