Sinbad.. I just checked .. the new one still shows in IE for me here. Earlier when it happened with Firefox I thought maybe I had checked as they were changing some things on the webpage.
I have both browsers open now.
Cleared cached and deleted cookies in both.
Old webpage shows in Firefox
New webpage shows in IE
exact same address entered

doing cartwheels (j/k) haha You are welcome Sinbad :)

Actually, www.avast.com points to one from many different servers and the web page content is still uploading to several of them - so there could be some discrepancy on what you see. The complet web update should be finished in about twenty minutes ;-)

Does your ISP (or you) use an Internet Proxy (a cache of recently requested pages, gives the impression of faster access), if so it is possible that it has not been updated.
Try this when you have the avast.com page displayed (if it's still the old one), press the F5 key this forces a refresh without using the local cache, press the Shift key and click the Refresh icon on your browser, this also bypasses the local cache.
