Title: Comparison of new 4.5 and beta 4.5.518

How does todays "official" 4.5 release compare with the Beta (presumably) 4.5.518 I got today? Are they one and the same? Forgive me if I'm naive, but I am a newbie - having started on beta versions will I continue to get beta versions automatically as new features are added? If I wished to switch back to the "official" release,  how do I do it?

The official release is 4.5.518 (build 518), so it is no longer in the beta phase and has been officially released. So people can now download it from the website.

This is the official release, no going back and all future updates will be for the official/final version of avast! 4.5.

I hope this makes it clear.

Bob, no need for that.
Your system will be updated if you set so - Updates (Basic) tab of the settings.
Beta no longer exists... now only the official releases as David said.
