Title: Why is avast scoring at AV comparatives getting worse?
Post by: dagrev on October 11, 2011, 09:45:11 PM
Before I get hammered with things like tests don't matter and the like, let me say I love avast enough to actually pay for it.  I'm just curious why it seems that avast is scoring worse rather than better?  Progressively through the year it's moving backward in this test.  In Aug only three others were behind avast.  I'm just wondering why this might be.  Possibly it is a faulty test, and I don't base everything on them, but I do factor them in the mix when thinking of AVs to use and recommend.

I think it's 3-4 times a day now...

I think that like anything else, results like that can go up and down a little. that said,  avast still got advanced+ rating in the latest on-demand comparative
