I work for non-profit humanitarian organization. I wonder if I could use Avast free on the office PCs? Would it be legal?

No, I'm afraid not.  Avast! Free is for "Home" use only, any use for business, profit making or not, is against the TOS.

Not it is not legal.

But, you might want to ask for a discount, if there is any, at sales@avast.com
