Bonjour,
Depuis plusieurs jours je ne peux recevoir mes courriels de mon serveur. Je reçois un message m'identifiant un erreur POP3 et de contacter mon serveur. Ce dernier me dit qu'il a reçu plusieurs plaintes pour le même problème et que le problème ce corrige en fessant une modification dans Avast. J'ai d'ésinstallé avast et j'ai reçu mes couriels. J'ai reinstallé Avast et le problem est revenu. Pourriez vous m'aider S.V.P. J'utilise Avast internet security version 6.0.1289

IS THERE ANYONE FROM TECHNICAL SUPPORT THAT CAN HELP ME PLEASE

Good day,
For know a few days I can not receve my e-mails from one of my account. A message of error in POP3 and to contact my server. The answer of my server was that he had received many complains for the same problem. The solution to this issue is Avast. I desinstalled Avast and my email came in. I've reinstalled Avast and the problem came back. I use thunderbird for my e-mail and Avast security version 6.0.1289
Can some one help me with this problem please

avast! 5 and 6 work the same way so this article is still relevant.

In THUNDERBIRD:  Turn off all secure connections
email account --> view settings --> server settings --> connection security: set to "None"
Still in the account settings pop-up, scroll the left pane down --> Outgoing Server (SMTP) --> click email smtp --> edit --> connection security: set to "None"
