I installed Avast antivirus 6.0.1289 on a fresh Win 7 X86 Ultimate system with the combination of Comodo Free Firewall(5.8.211697.2131). Every is set as default in Avast settings.Comodo firewall is set in Custom policy mode.I have also made exclusions for each of these programs in their settings separately.While browsing the web,AvastSvc.exe uses almost 100% of Network bandwith (especially while watching videos).Well this happens randomly not at all times.May be this happens when my dynamic ip changes.Disabling the Webshield doesnt solve the problem.Is this problem related to some incompatability between Avast and Comodo firewall?Please help me Guys...

Where abouts in avast did you place the comodo exclusions ? not there neccessary from what iv read from other comodo users here but you never know.

Auto sandbox exclusions shouldn't be neccessary unless you recieve a popup, did you exclude the whole comodo program file in avast file system shield ? the avast default settings are the best for a balance between speed and protection.
If you've added exclusions for avast to comodo applications list ( whatever its called ) there should be three avast services that need to be set to allow all ( UI, UPDATE and SERVICE )
What browser are you using and how do you connect to the net ?

Well I have made all exclusions as specied by you,I connect directly through the router for Internet.I am using Google Chrome as my default browser but do use firefox and internet explorer sometimes.I have checked the problem with all these mentioned browsers.

I recommend setting comodo
for firewall: safe mode
for defense+: clean pc mode
and turning off comodo sandbox.
So far there are no conflicts between avast and comodo in my laptop. You may want consulting your ISP.

Disabling both sandbox and defense+ in comodo firewall seems to have solved the problem.Now the internet connection is smooth.
