I did get BSOD on the system startup (APC_INDEX_MISMATCH) in the last days (nearly every two days!). This is the first time I get BSOD with the latest version. The utility called Blue Screen View doesn't report anything about Avast (6.0.1289). It reports this is caused by ntkrnlpa.exe However, disabling rootkit scan on system startup seems to solve this problem. No more BSOD in the last week.I'm not sure if that was just by coincidence.
(Using Vista Ultimate 32bit)

What version of avast are you using as your signiture states an old version, the latest stable is 6.0.1289 and there will also be another new stable release out soon.

I'm using the latest one (6.0.1289) as I wrote in my message.
(Sorry, I'll update my signature as well.)

Is the \Windows\memory.dmp file in your system? Could you please compress it (rar/zip/7z) and upload it on our ftp? Thanks.
-
Yes, they are still in my system. I'll try to upload it.

If it helps... ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming (ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming)

Thanks. But I think I already uploaded it. Didn't you get it?
(Did I something wrong?: I opened the page in Windows explorer and copied the 7z-file there.)

Amonra, I'm not from avast team, can't verify that for you.
But, most probably, they've received it. Just take some time to analyse it.

amonra, thanks - but you uploaded minidump (~100kb). I asked you if you have a memory dump (C:\windows\memory.dmp) in your system (it's quite big, 300Mb - 2000Mb). You can compress it and upload it to our ftp. Thanks.

Sorry. It was my fault. This time I uploaded the right one (~176MB).
