Title: Would like help with why Avast is unable to scan some files
Post by: flywelder on November 28, 2011, 05:51:50 AM
Over the past two months, my Avast scan results, list files that were unable to be scanned. There is aleast 55 files! :o

I am concerned about this.
i would like to learn why they could not be scanned and how to correct this so it does not happen again.
I copied the list if it is needed.

I greatly appreciate your assistance.
 thank you.

Maybe the files are password protected archives? Then avast! can't scan them. Check your log for this.

PS: You should hide your email from public. Go to Profile --> Account Related Settings --> check "Hide email address from public?"
