every time I use teracopy to copy a file, avast is starting sf.bin and there is a big cpu-spike..why is this happening?
Another problem I had while copying a big file with teracopy was that sf.bin was opening and closing every 5 seconds, using a lot of cpu...I cant reproduce this exact behavior...normally sf.bin is just opened once and then closed when teracopy is copying a file...
teracopy can be found here , http://www.codesector.com/teracopy.php , version 2.27
avast free 6.0.1367, only running file system shield (no sandbox), webshield, networkshield, windows xp sp3

sf.bin is avast emulation engine.
Which firewall do you use?

im using the windows firewall in xp...
I added teracopy.exe to the exclusion list in filesystemshield in avast.
Now SF.bin is not starting anymore when launching teracopy
