Hi, i like to know if possible accelerate the update engine and virus definitions including the own programme independently to the internet velocity that the people have?

Not that I am aware of.

There is a setting that might get you a little optimization.

Open Avast!>>Settings>>Updates>>then under the Update Parameters heading, select how you connect to the Internet.
