Title: settings of file system shield

are the settings are set to scan all files in file shield cozz somebody changed it so not sure...

scan when writing

scan when opening

here i have ticked scan all files
is this the correct default setting?

and exclusions for web shiled are there are they correct by default doing a reset will bring back to default??

No it isn't a default setting - If you read the text below that setting you would or should be able to tell that.

I don't know how you could allow someone else to change your settings (apply a password), since someone has changed your settings, you could use the Restore factory defaults and uncheck the one you don't want reset.

U are hilarious!!!!

i have set a paasword for avast now.
most probably my sister has done the changes  :-[

I noticed a slow down in my pc so i checked the setting and found the changes.

I saw avast was conflicting with comodo causing those changes i did a repair and reboot and it is fine now  ;D

I don't know how a conflict with comodo can make changes in avast settings, impossible.

but it happened here...i did a repair and its fine

when i tried to access d+ events in comodo it changed avast settings...i did a repair in avast and its fine now  :)

Didn't you say earlyer that your sister had played around with your settings  ??? Comodo can't change them, give you sister a kick in the backside  ;) ;D

well my sis didnt do it comodo had done it

i did a repair and reboot yesterday and its perfectly fine now  ;D

but it took place...


as u see yesterday when i accessed comodo and clicked on view d+ events i noticed it changed setting in avast!  :o

i did a repair and reboot in avast and now it is fine here!  ;D

That is nothing more than coincidence, a repair won't reset the default settings, it retains the settings that you have.

Comodo D+ changed nothing in your avast settings it is that simple.
Why the hell would it, why are other comodo D+ avast users not reporting the same ?
Because it isn't happening.

I've Avast and Comodo FW with D+ and I've never noticed a similar thing..

after the repair in avast i didnt see any changes in settings in accessing D+ events  ;D

so everything is working perfectly here now  ;D

I did a repair in avast and then no changes in settings while accessing D+ events

everything is perfectly fine now  ;D

Have to get to workstation...week is being very busy...lots and lots of fake system utilities i have to go to clean computers!

We didn't get anything wrong, you were pretty clear what you said comodo did.

That couldn't be clearer what you said comodo did and we are saying that is rubbish. To change the avast file system shield settings, you have to physically change them.
