are the settings are set to scan all files in file shield cozz somebody changed it so not sure...
scan when writing
scan when opening
here i have ticked scan all files
is this the correct default setting?
and exclusions for web shiled are there are they correct by default doing a reset will bring back to default??
-
No it isn't a default setting - If you read the text below that setting you would or should be able to tell that.
I don't know how you could allow someone else to change your settings (apply a password), since someone has changed your settings, you could use the Restore factory defaults and uncheck the one you don't want reset.

Thanks a lot! ;D

U are hilarious!!!!
i have set a paasword for avast now.
most probably my sister has done the changes :-[
I noticed a slow down in my pc so i checked the setting and found the changes.
-
I saw avast was conflicting with comodo causing those changes i did a repair and reboot and it is fine now ;D
-
I don't know how a conflict with comodo can make changes in avast settings, impossible.

That is nothing more than coincidence, a repair won't reset the default settings, it retains the settings that you have.
Comodo D+ changed nothing in your avast settings it is that simple.
Why the hell would it, why are other comodo D+ avast users not reporting the same ?
Because it isn't happening.

We didn't get anything wrong, you were pretty clear what you said comodo did.
when i tried to access d+ events in comodo it changed avast settings...
That couldn't be clearer what you said comodo did and we are saying that is rubbish. To change the avast file system shield settings, you have to physically change them.
-
sorry but thanks a lot david for your help and attention as far as now everything is fine! ;D :)
