Actually the subject isn't entirely true. I can connect with the firewall on but I can't ping the DNS server and I can't RDP to my workstation on the remote end of the VPN. If I turn off the firewall, the VPN works as expected. I want to be able to leave the firewall on when VPN is active. What do I need to change?
Here is my config.
Avast v 6.0.1367
Cisco VPN client 5.0.07.0440
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
I have added packet rules for ESP (50) In/Out and AH (51) In/Out but that didn't work either.

Hi
Please try this and update us back.
Avast UI -> Firewall settings -> Expert settings -> Friends
add the VPN ip address there.
Then add packet rules for ESP (50) In/Out and AH (51) In/Out.
Thanks
