Title: Scans External?

When choosing a complete scan will my external hard drive be scanned also?

Part two:  If not a custom scan asks me to identify "folders".  When browsing it correctly identifies my external drive as "External 1 (F:) and I'm allowed to put a check mark next to that.  Is that all I need to do to identify the "folders" inside or should I open the drive and check off all the folders?

check mark on F should be enough
