I know Avast does not support SSL connections. But in the previous version if I had any SSL account Avast did not scan them but it atleast I could send e-mails over SSL. Unfortunately in the latest version of avast(4.5) I am not allowed to send e-mail over SSL until I terminate the internet mail module. which is very undesirable.
How can I make sure that avast stays away from my SSL connections?
Client: Thunderbird 0.9
OS: Win XP Home.

Upgrade to 4.5.536 and let us know if the problem is solved.

Where do I get it? The version you mentioned is not available for download from avast (not even in the beta products section).
