Title: How to disable Sandboxing in BPP for all clients?
Post by: dbeatson on January 12, 2012, 06:20:39 PM
We have some programs that we use that are prompting the user to run in sandbox when they are opened, we have changed the drop down menu to "run normally" and than checked the box to remember the setting, but it never does, so it will be easier just to disable this from the console if it is possible?

Thanks,

David

Hi,
if you have the last console version 1.1.132.15 the autosandbox should be disabled by default..
However, if you go in the console->Network->Group view, under your group ->edit group settings->expert settings and check the value you can see in attached image.
You can also insert a exclusion list.

I just deployed the latest version BPP on our network this week for the first time and it was enabled by default, I have changed this setting and now checking the clients to make sure it propagates out, previously we have Trend Micro Systems Software so this was a completely new deployment.

Thank you.
